Tier 1
One-off design
A single deliverable, straight to print.
- Instant quote after a short chat about the scope.
- Delivery in 1–5 days depending on my availability. Need it sooner? Add a $75 expedite fee and I'll push it to the front.
- Upfront fee is based on complexity, with small progress charges along the way for anything beyond the agreed scope.
Tier 2
Prototyping & iteration
Most projects aiming at commercialization.
- Upfront fee based on complexity — most projects land between $300–$600.
- First prototype in 1–5 days (same $75 expedite available).
- The first two prototypes — and physical prints, if printing is part of the brief — are included in the quote.
- Each additional iteration round runs 15–20% of the quote, so the path forward is always predictable.
Tier 3
Production
Once the design is finalized and proven.
- In-shop 3D printing with a volume discount — the studio can output 10–20 kg per week.
- Overseas coordination for true mass production — 100 kg+ or thousands of units. Lead time runs 40–50 days, and per-unit pricing comes down sharply at that scale.
Good to share up front
- What the part needs to do and where it fits.
- Key dimensions, or a sample object to measure or scan.
- Sketches or reference images, however rough.
- Your end goal — one-off, prototype run, or production-ready.
